Whitelist IP Address

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 692 views

The Whitelist IP Address feature in Password Protected allows you to specify trusted IP addresses that can access your password-protected content without entering a password. This feature enhances the security of your WordPress site by blocking unauthorized access attempts from other sources.

How to use the Whitelist IP Address feature:

  • Go to the WordPress admin dashboard and click “Password Protected” in the left menu.
  • Go to the “General” tab and scroll to the “Allow IP Addresses” section.
  • Under the Allow IP Addresses option, enter the IP addresses you want to whitelist, with one IP address per line.
  • Save the changes and enjoy the Whitelist IP Address feature.

You can also view the IP addresses that have attempted to access your site or content in the Password Attempt Logs page.
