Set Cookies Storage and Retention

The Remember Me feature in Password Protected allows users to access your password-protected content without entering a password every time they visit your WordPress site. This feature enhances the user experience and convenience for your visitors.

NOTE: The Remember Me feature is also available in the free versions of Password Protected.

Enable Cookies Storage:

• Make sure you have Password Protected installed and activated on your WordPress site.

• Go to the WordPress admin dashboard and click “Password Protected” on the left menu.

• Enable the Allow Remember Me option in the “General” tab.

Set Cookies Expiration Time:

• Under the Remember for this Many Days option, enter the number of days you want the user’s login session to be remembered.

For example, if you enter “14”, the user will be remembered for 14 days.

•  Save the changes and enjoy the Remember Me feature.

NOTE: If you disable the Allow Remember Me option, the Remember for this many days option will not affect the user sessions.
