Import & Export Passwords for Individual Pages/Posts

The latest update in the Password Protected Pro plugin now allows users to import and export passwords for individual protected pages and posts. This is an essential feature for website administrators who need to manage access to certain pages or posts effectively.

With this feature, you can:

• Export passwords of individual pages or posts.
• Import passwords to new pages or posts without manually entering passwords.

How to Import/Export Passwords for Individual Pages and Posts

1. Import Passwords

• From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Pages or Posts.
• Click Edit on the page or post where you want to import passwords.

• Scroll down to the Meta Boxes section below the page editor, where you will find all passwords associated with the selected page or post.

• Below the password settings, click the Import Passwords button and select a CSV file containing the passwords you want to import.
• The passwords from the CSV file will be successfully applied to the selected page or post.

Note: Ensure the file you are importing is in the correct CSV format. You can also download the sample CSV file to follow the correct format.

2. Export Passwords

• Scroll down to the Meta Boxes section below the page editor and click the Export Passwords button.
• It will directly download the CSV file containing the passwords.
