Import Export Passwords

The Import-Export Passwords feature in the Multiple Passwords Section makes password management easy for administrators by allowing them to back up and migrate password data. To use them, follow the steps below.

  • Navigate to Multiple Passwords.

Import Passwords

The Import Passwords feature enables admin users to upload a CSV file, allowing them to easily add or move multiple passwords simultaneously, thereby making password management faster and simpler.

  • In the Multiple Passwords section, click on the Import Passwords button to import passwords.
  • A pop-up will appear with two options: Drag and Drop or Choose File. You can drag the password file into the designated area or select a file from your device to upload.
  • Additionally, you can download a sample CSV file format for importing passwords, ensuring the data is correctly structured for seamless upload.

  • Once you upload the file, a progress indicator will be displayed.
  • After the process is completed, your passwords will be successfully imported.

Export Passwords

The Export feature allows admin users to download all passwords, including details such as limits, expiry dates, status, and bypass URLs, in a CSV file. This is useful for backing up or moving data to another system.

  • You can export your passwords by clicking on the Export Passwords button.

The Import-Export Passwords feature in the Password Protected plugin simplifies bulk password management. It saves time by allowing quick uploads and backups, making it easy to migrate, update, or transfer password data across environments, especially helpful for large or growing sites.
