Hide Content From Search Results

The “Hide Content From Search Results” option prevents password-protected documents from appearing in search results, ensuring restricted access to sensitive content. To use this functionality, follow the steps below.

1. Go to general and toggle ON the ‘Password Protected Status.

Note: Ensure you click ‘Save Changes’ after making updates to apply and preserve your settings. 

• Open your site in incognito mode and append ‘/=s?’ to the domain.
  Example: [ https://purplecream.s4-tastewp.com/=s? ].

• This will display a page with a search bar showing your posts.

• To hide the content from search results, go to Advanced > Exclude from Protection.
• Then, toggle ON the option ‘hide the content from search results.’ To use this functionality.

Note: Ensure you click ‘Save Changes’ after making updates to apply and preserve your settings. 

• Again, open your site in incognito mode. Add ‘/=s? At the end of your domain URL.
  Example: [ https://yourdomain.com/=s? ]
• When accessed, a page with a search bar displays a message saying, “Sorry, but nothing matches your search terms.”
